Aloha!

Aloha! In celebration of my last mid-term exam this morning, the Island Macaroons have (finally) made their debut in my kitchen. (I bought the macademia nuts several weeks ago in the hopes that I would start baking Christmas treats a wee bit earlier than today, but so goes the holiday season.) I wanted to share the work in progress because I'm quite excited about how well they've turned out so far.

I had no idea they would smell so delish and would brown so perfectly on top. Truly delightful! They just got out of the oven but as soon as they cool, I will dip them in chocolate. Mmmmmm....
